Marguerite Eaddy July 4, 1967 - July 29, 2022

Mrs. Marguerite Eaddy of Lawrenceville, Georgia entered into heavenly rest on Friday, July 29, 2022 after a brief illness.

She filled our life with bursts of laughter often, especially on her birthday. Marguerite was born on July 4, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Minister Flora White and the late Mr. George White, Sr.

She graduated from South Florence High School in 1985 and went on to attend Nursing School. She later joined the VA Canteen and progressively worked her way upward as Assistant Chief of Canteen Services at the Veteran Administration in Atlanta, Georgia. She retired in 2009.

Marguerite and Prophet Phillip Eaddy met through a mutual friend, and they were smitten with each other, after a courtship they married in 1991. They enjoyed nurturing and spoiling their special nieces, nephews, cousins and god children.

She had a passion for cooking and prided herself with gourmet entrees and incredible desserts.

She and her husband, along with the late Pastor Anna Reid co-founded the Church of A Solid Foundation in historic West End Atlanta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. George White, Sr; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Martha White; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mae Gibbs; two brothers-in-love, Earle Eaddy and Robert Eaddy; four uncles, Calvin Wilson, Sr., Cleveland Hunter, Charles Jackson, Jr., and James Gibbs.
Marguerite leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband of thirty years, Prophet Phillip Eaddy, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her mother, Minister Flora White of Florence, South Carolina; one sister, Ms. Yolanda White Wooten of Windsor, Virginia; one brother, Mr. George, Jr. (Mona) White of Charlotte, North Carolina; three brothers-in-love, Mr. Victor Eaddy (Yvette) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr. Rubin Eaddy of Florence, South Carolina, and Mr. Kenneth (Pauletta) Eaddy of Panama City, Florida; two sisters-in-love, Aleisha Eaddy and Reverend Jackie Eaddy; seven aunts, Mrs. Reather Hunter, Ms. Juanita Scott, Mrs. Marian (Joe) Hanna, Mrs. Pontheola Wilson, Rebecca (Don) Fikes, Ms. Shirley Jackson and Anna Gibbs; one uncle, Gary (Sara) Gibbs; and a host of niece, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Frederick Deon Waiters May 11, 1979 - July 31, 2022

Mr. Frederick Dion Waiters was born May 11, 1979, in Florence, South Carolina to Wanda Faye Waiters and Ronald Pugh. He departed this earthly life July 31, 2022.

Frederick better known as “Bozo” attended the public schools in Florence County. He was well known and loved throughout the East Florence Community as having a great passion and love of people and dogs.

Frederick was preceded in death by his loving wife Rachel “Bankie” James Waiters and his little brother Daniel “Sticc” Waiters.

Frederick leaves to cherish his loving memories his daughter, Demonia Waiters, along with providing love and guidance to a young man he was proud to call a son, Ty’jdah James, and his granddaughter, Milaun Waiters, Florence, SC; his mother, Wanda Waiters, Florence, SC and his father, Ronald Pugh, Rowland, NC; a grandmother, Ruby Waiters, Florence, SC; four sisters, Aniyah Waiters, Samantha Pugh, Catherine James, and Elizabeth James; a brother, Ronald (Susan) James; four aunts, Doshia Waiters Florence, SC, Gwen Ballad, Tennessee, Judy McWhite, Georgia and Helen McWhite, Florence, SC; a special niece, Bridgette Jackson and Stephanie Wright, Kiki Wright Florence, SC; a special cousin, Tara Pighte, Joan Belin, Letasha Waiters, Marvin Saunders; special friends, Jeremiah Gilchrist,, Dominique Brown, Kenny Hawkins, Ernest King and Cornelius Bostic; and a host of special cousins, relatives and friends.

Steven Jackson April 23, 1987 - July 28, 2022

Steven Javon Jackson was born April 23, 1987, in Florence, South Carolina. He was the son of Alphonso Bess and Catha Elaine Jackson. Steven departed this life July 28, 2022.

He attended the public schools of Florence County. Shortly after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served in many combat zones including Iraq and Kuwait, and he was deployed to other foreign lands as well. Steven volunteered his time at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ where he served his community by doing outreach and volunteering. He really had a passion for family and assisting veterans who had issues adjusting to life after military discharge. He often spoke about how he identified with many of the issues that lead to homelessness and hopelessness among veterans, and his goal was to lessen these incidents among fellow service members.

Left behind to cherish precious memories are his wife, Ashley Jackson, Dillion SC; Porchea S. Jackson, sister, Florence, SC; Erica E. Jackson, sister, Charlotte, NC; Shanika Graham, sister, Florence, SC; Philip Bess, brother, Darlington, SC; Mya Bess, sister, Darlington, SC, and his grandmother, Cora Lee Bess, affectionately known as Grandma Bunny, of Darlington, SC. His nephew and niece Zayden and Kaelynn Mouzon,Florence SC. A special friend, Sergio Walton, Asheville NC. In addition to his siblings, Steven leaves a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will keep him in their hearts forever.

Darlene Patrice Legette November 24, 1967 - July 27, 2022

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Darlene Patrice Legette.

Sister Darlene Patrice Legette departed this life Wednesday July 27, in Marion County. She was the mother of Richard Diaz and Darlecia Adams. You may visit the family at 117 Patricia Ct. Marion, SC.

The family of Sister Darlene Patrice Legette in consideration of the current health crisis will hold a 100 person or less funeral service.

Ronald Tronie Bell February 21, 1953 - July 29, 2022

Brother Ronald Tronie Bell was 69, and departed this life Friday July 29, 2022 in Florence County. He was the husband of Sylvia Bell, the father Kelvin Davis, Ronald II, Bernard, Christopher Bell. You may visit the family at 1628 Victory Ct. Marion.
Public viewing will be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Friday August 5 beginning at 12:00 noon-7:00 pm.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at Creek Bridge Stem Academy on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at St. James AME Church Memorial Garden. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Langford Nathaniel Williams April 7, 1955 - July 29, 2022

Brother Langford Williams was 67, and departed this life Friday July 29, 2022 in Marion County. He was the husband of Donna Williams, the father of Melike Davis, Keith Davis, Beanie Wilson, Jamal Roberts, Darrell Roberts, Jordan Williams, the step-father of Kevin Davis and Johnathan Reed.
