Eliza’s Vegan Cafe

And you thought vegans only ate salad? Well, think again!

Opening my food truck is an opportunity to offer plant-based alternatives to a rising population that is usually overlooked. I cannot name ONE restaurant in the Pee Dee area where I can enjoy the mock versions of macaroni and cheese with fried chicken! And though major franchises are beginning to offer vegan options, the fear of animal cross-contamination is ever-present. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather not eat French fries that were fried in the same oil as chicken nuggets.

The idea to open a café was a small flicker in 2005, which evolved into a roaring flame in 2018. By February of 2021, I was on the path to opening the first 100% vegan food truck in Florence. No longer are we forced to eat non-creative dishes, or be relegated solely to salad or fruit options!

Craving a bacon cheeseburger? How about a Jamaican Beef Patty? Come break bread with us - we’ve got you covered! With our ever-changing menu, I’m sure you will find something you like.

Our grand opening is Tuesday, April 6th at Eats on the Creek Food Truck Park, located at 2402 W. Palmetto Street. Come join us for some food and let’s get acquainted!
