**Obituary Minister Carnun Alberta Cain-Gamble**

Minister Carnun Alberta Cain-Gamble also known as “CC” to many of her loved ones was born February 16, 1955 in Florence, South Carolina. She was the third child to the late Nunlee Cain and Carnell Brown Cain. “CC” went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

She attended Gibbs Elementary and Junior High Schools in Pamplico, South Carolina and graduated from Hannah Pamplico High in 1972. “CC” attended the University of Maryland and Florence Darlington Technical College, was employed by J. P. Stevens Textile Company in Pamplico, South Carolina and General Electric in Florence, South Carolina.

“CC” enlisted into the United States Army in June of 1979 and served 20 years of service, retiring in January 2000.

“CC” received Christ in 1967 and joined Mount Zion Chapel Baptist Church in Pamplico, South Carolina at the age of twelve. She became licensed into the Ministry on February 11, 2001, then joined New Ebenezer Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Norman Gamble, in February 2007 “Before GOD formed Carnun Alberta Cain in the belly HE knew her: and before she came forth out of the womb, HE sanctified her; and HE ordained her a Prophetess unto the nations. She walks in the footsteps of the Apostles.

Minister Cain has labored in several ministries: Choir, Lay Person, Usher, Hospitality, Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher, Noonday Prayer, Singles, Children, Sisterhood and Women. In 1996, God gave her a vision for Singles in Chester, Virginia. In 1998, while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany; God gave her instruction for a Singles Worshipping Eternal Everlasting Praise (SWEEP) Ministry. “CC’s” Missionary journey has taken her to Kampalea Uganda in Africa (Aug-Oct 2001) where she worked to help the Jambula Children’s Center receive school supplies” (Carnun A. Cain-Gamble).

Furthermore, “CC” was heavily affiliated at her home church, New Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she continued to be a good steward as an Associate Minister, advisor to Singles ministry and a member of the Sick and Shut-in Ministry.

As she walked in her God given gifts of Prophetess, Evangelist and Teacher; she continues to Sweep the Streets in all the lives she has touched through her ongoing legacy.

Those left to carry-on “CC’s” legacy and cherished memories are her husband, Edward Gamble; two children, Shanekqua (Tim) Holmes and Anterio “Marty” (Tywanna) Gamble; four siblings, Dianna Cain, Ernest (Rosa) Cain, Edward (Ana) Cain, and Michael Cain; six grandchildren; a special friend, Jackie Brunson; two military sisters, Lisa Craddock and Charnell Hatcher; and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, other relatives, and close friends.

**Obituary Mr. Lloyd Lawson, Jr. **

Mr. Lloyd Lawson, Jr. was born on January 5, 1942 to the late Llyod, Sr. and Sarah Lawson in Florence, South Carolina. He was reared by his grandfather and grandmother, Richard and Gaynell Anderson. He departed this life Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Lloyd attended the Public Schools in Florence, South Carolina.

At an early age, Lloyd accepted Christ as his personal Savior, He joined Wayside Baptist Church and was baptized. Later years, he moved his membership to New Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Lloyd was married to Lillian B. Lawson for 41 years. He was a hard-working dedicated husband.

Lloyd was employed with Sears as a General Contractor, a Floor Covering Specialist for The Rug Shop, and as a foreman over the Upholstery Department at Lazy Boy East.

Lloyd played as lead guitarist for several local groups. He played for the Five Gospel Stars and the Golden Stars of Florence. He would do anything you ask of him. Lloyd was very talented and was loved by all that knew him.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and four sisters, Diane Holloway, Helen Lawson, Delores Winfield, and Florence Myers.

Lloyd leaves to cherish precious memories: his devoted wife of 41 years, Lillian B. Lawson; five brothers, Richard Lawson of Franklin, Virginia, Robert Lawson of New Mexico, Ronnie Lawson of Suffolk, Virginia, Roger Lawson of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Nicholas (Priscille) Lawson of Lake City, South Carolina; seven sisters, Betty Frierson of Columbia, South Carolina, Shirley Singletary of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Janet Fields of Bronx, New York, Linda (Walter) Stewart of Bronx, New York, Lillian (Mark) Freeman of Franklin, Virginia, Debra Lawson of Rayford, North Carolina, and Michelle (Edmond) Cockfield of Lake City, South Carolina; a special cousin reared in the home, Tommy Mitchell of Richmond, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Bennett of Cartersville, South Carolina and Mary B. White of Florence, South Carolina; and a host nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, extended church family, and friends.

** Obituary Mrs. Veola W. Williamson**

Mrs. Veola W. Williamson was born August 25, 1944, in Florence, SC to Jack and Tuler Wilson.

Survivors to cherish her wonderful memories her daughter, Victoria N. (Mr. Eric) Williamson; four grandchildren, Tyrek Epps, Bre'Anna Epps, V'Kayla Epps, and Ethan Tolbert, one brother, Willie (Susie) Wilson; two sisters, Sheila (Archie) Eillott and Angela (Greg) Lane; stepmother, Eunice Wilson, aunts, Mila Dean Gaskin, Patricia (RV) Williamson, and Eloise H. McClary, brothers-in-law, Chandler Williamson and Abner Edwards Sr., sisters-in-law, Cynthia Wilson, Isco Davis, Pearline Burgess, Everlean McElveen, Dora Moses, Bettie Williamson, and Shirley Williamson; cousin sister, Mary Williamson; two special nieces, Pearl Reyes and Jean Williams; special nephew, Marquis Moye, niece she helped raised, Yvette Young; a special family she took as her own, Ashley Smith, Grayson Mckay, Brittany Mckay and Isabella Smith; three godchildren, Stephen Williamson, Shirell McElveen, and Anthony; a great host of other relatives and friends.
