Family Day at the Florence County Museum

We are back in-person! From toddlers to grandparents, Family Days with the Florence County Museum are sure to offer something for everyone. Join us the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Family Day at the FCM. No registration required. Free of charge.

Your vision can really play tricks with your mind! Participants will experience the persistence of vision by creating a simple Thaumatrope.

Super Slime!

Art Studio

Use basic household supplies in this creative. Slimy experiment. Participants will learn about polymers and chemical bonds as they create colorful slime.

New Year's Eve Block Party

Ring in the New Year with the Darlington Downtown Revitalization Association's New Year’s Eve Block Party. There will be food, beverages, live music by Painted Man, and a balloon drop at midnight. The event will take place in the Public Square from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday.

ArtFields Makers Market

The ArtFields Makers Market is chock full of goods made by incredibly talented artists from across the Southeast. ArtFields is beginning its call to makers for the historic tenth year of ArtFields. This open-air market showcases everything from fine art to unique hand-crafted goods and objects, inspired by the heart and soul of artists from this region. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the makers and purchase their creations. Makers Market will take place during the first weekend of ArtFields 2022 on April 23-24. Applications will be accepted through February 18.

AROHA Kids’ Time After School Dance Classes

3 fun, 30 minute dance classes for your child aged 6-12. They will get moving to Merengue, Bachata, and Hip Hop. Parents are expected to stay and relax in our lounge or watch the dance class.

Drop In: $7.50/class

1, 4 week class: $25

Add $10 to any package for a second child.
