Florence County Museum Summer Studios Registration
Summer Studios is a unique summer program for children at the Florence County Museum.
Each week-long session begins on Monday, focusing on a specific theme and ends on Friday.
To register, please visit our website at flocomuseum.org/summer or the FCM front desk. Space is limited to 10 students per studio session, so sign up today!
The following measures are in place during our summer studio programs:
• Registration is limited to 10 students.
• All surfaces and supplies disinfected daily.
• Each student will have dedicated space and supplies, limited sharing.
• Student drop-off and pick-up only. Staff will be present to assist and receive your child.
• Family reception will be held at the end of each week featuring works by student participants.
June 13 - 17, 2022
Mixed Media Mashup!
Ages 5-8; Monday-Friday, 9 am-12 pm. Cost $150
Art is much more than just paint on paper! Using a variety of materials, students will learn to combine media to create contemporary, vibrant works of art inspired by works displayed in the museum galleries.
June 20 - 24, 2022
The Science of Art
Ages 6-10: Monday-Friday, 9 am-12 pm. Cost $150
Explore the intersection of Science and Art in this multidisciplinary camp. Students will participate in exciting hands-on activities that blend subject areas with unique results. Activities include Art Robots, Sun Prints, Marbled Paper, Nature Embossing and more.
June 27 – July 1, 2022
Exploring Art History
Ages 6-10; Monday-Friday, 9 am-12 pm. Cost $150
Students will travel through time as they create works of art inspired by historical artists and cultures.
Participants will also have the opportunity view original works of art and objects on display as they create their own pottery, paintings, and weavings.
