Junior Leadership Florence County Holds Graduation

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the Junior Leadership Florence County Class of 2021-2022 had their graduation ceremony at Francis Marion University. The class consisted of 26 students from surrounding Florence County public, private, and home schools. The students completed a nine-month-long program that consisted of monthly sessions that we were able to do in person this year.

Throughout these nine months, the students were introduced to various valuable leadership skills, including time management, community issue awareness, and business ethics. The students were also provided training in the area of personal development skills training, volunteering opportunities and team building.

This program would not be successful without the partnership of the 4-H/Clemson Extension, Francis Marion University, and the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.
