DDSN Honors “Employee Of The Year,” Angel Profit

The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) would like to recognize Direct Support Professional Angel Profit as the Pee Dee Regional Center Employee of the Year. Profit has worked for the agency for twenty-nine years. She currently mentors and trains staff on how to care for residents.

“There aren’t enough words to describe the great things I can say about Angel Profit,” DDSN Pee Dee Regional Center Facility Administrator Franco Vaval said. “She goes far above and beyond her job duties. Angel works tirelessly to ensure the schedule has coverage on all shifts and when it does not, she covers the shifts herself. She cares for her staff both professionally and personally. Angel trains them to ensure they are doing their job correctly and she encourages growth. Most importantly she knows and loves our consumers we serve.”

DDSN celebrates the steadfast dedication and faithful service of its employees annually at each of the regional centers in Clinton, Columbia, Florence, Hartsville and Ladson. These employees exemplify the agency’s vision, mission, and values, and have far exceeded the expectations of their positions. Each of the Regional Center Employees of the Year were awarded a bonus and certificate.
