*Robert Abrams, July 10, 1960 - December 25, 2022*

Mr. Robert Junior Abrams, the sixth child of the late Nathan Abrams and the late Minnie King Abrams was born on July 10, 1960 in Florence, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Robert was a Class of 1978 graduate from West Florence High School. He enlisted in the United States Army after graduation and upon his term of service he received an Honorable Discharge.

Robert was a caring and giving person with a big personality. He loved music and he loved life, as every day was Christmas to him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Minnie King Abrams; his oldest brother, Harry Abrams; two sisters, Dorothy Gregg and his baby sister, Charlene Abrams-Brown; and two nephews, Vincent Davis and Willie Gregg.

Those who will cherish Robert’s loving memories are: two brothers, Roy L. (Cathy) Abrams of Florence, South Carolina and Danny Abrams of Moultrie, Georgia; several nephews, Justin Abrams, Roy Abrams, II, and Dominique Abrams; several nieces, Marie Backus, Christina Holloway, Aspen Davis, Davada Brown, Torrie Robinson, Stephanie Abrams and Ebony Graham; and a host of great nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

*Betty McCall Moody, March 7, 1955 - January 6, 2023*

Sister Betty McCall Moody was 67, and departed this life Friday January 6, 2023 in Florence County. She was the wife of Cleo Moody Sr. You may visit the family at 224 Meadowview Rd. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Monday January 16, at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Greater Singletary AME Church Cemetery.

The family of Sister Betty McCall Moody in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and local community, will hold a 100 person or less funeral service for their loved one with interment immediately following. While the Moody family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. *Nichole Olivia White, September 9, 1974 - January 4, 2023*

Sister Nichole O. White was 48, and departed this life Wednesday January 4, in Marion County. She was the daughter of Henry White Jr. and Magnolia White, the mother of Jasmine Mullins and Janiya White. You may visit the family at 2751 Wallace Rd. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Marion on Saturday January 14, at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins. Services will be live streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

*Nuhas Al-Rad, May 14, 1961 - January 5, 2023*

Larone Hanna was born on Sunday, May 14, 1961 to late Mr. Nathaniel Hanna and Mrs. Ruby Dell Timmons Hanna. He entered into rest on Thursday January 5, 2023.

He joined Nineveh United Methodist Church at an early age. He received his former education at Florence School District #3. He graduated from Lake City High School. After graduation he moved to Brooklyn, New York where he join the Muslim Faith and change his name to Nuhas Ibn Al-Rad.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving son Tamir Al-Rad Blake of Queens, NY. His loving mother Ruby Dell Hanna of Lake City, SC. His Brothers Carl Leon Hanna of Lake City, SC and Horace Timmons (Valarie Timmons) of Effingham, SC. One niece Makeisha Timmons of Florence, SC and one nephew Jaquan DeCarlos Hanna of Houston, TX. Four uncles, Nine Aunts and a host of cousins and other relatives.

Special thanks to Patriot Hospice Nurse Ashley Byrd and his cousin Cynthia Garrick and his sister-in-law Valarie Timmons for the care they provided for Mr. Nuhas Alrad.

Memorial Service scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Green-Cooper-Gaskins Funeral Home LLC., 309 S.Church St. Lake City, SC 29560

*Jeffrey L. Miles, April 15, 1968 - January 6, 2023*

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Miles family announce the passing of Mr. Jeffrey L. Miles of Myrtle Beach, SC, formally of Darlington, SC. Mr. Miles passed on Friday, January 6, 2023 in Horry County.

Funeral service is 11:30am on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Florence National Cemetery.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the residence of a niece, Ms. LaToya Miles, 516 Mallard Duck Drive, Darlington.
