Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Brian Wall Returns to McLeod
McLeod Health and McLeod Cardiology Associates are pleased to welcome the return of Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Brian Wall to the Pee Dee area.
Dr. Wall cared for cardiac patients at McLeod for several years before relocating to Columbia, South Carolina. After spending three years in Columbia, he made the decision to return to Florence.
“My family and I decided it was time for us to come home,” said Dr. Wall. “I grew up just a few miles down the road from Florence in Turbeville. My family and friends have been asking me to come back, wishing for me to once again take part in their cardiac care. I am excited about returning to McLeod and our community.”
Dr. Wall is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, General Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Wall then went on to complete an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Dr. Wall’s areas of expertise include: Valve Disease Management, Acute Myocardial Infarction (heart attack care), Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter, Cardiac Arrhythmias, and Cardiomyopathy.
“I want to provide a better understanding of heart disease, in both how to prevent it and manage it,” said Dr. Wall. “It is still the number-one killer in the world, yet there is a lack of knowledge in the general population about its risk factors like diabetes, hypertension, and tobacco abuse, all of which are highly prevalent in our area.”
Dr. Wall is accepting new patients. Physician and self-referrals are welcome. Appointments with Dr. Wall can be made by calling 843-667-1891.
Dr. Wall resides in Florence with his wife, Angela, and their children, Patience, Braylen and Emersyn.
