SLED Charges Newberry County Woman With Harassment

Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Audriauna Lexus Lester, 26, of Newberry, SC, on March 23, 2023, with Harassment – 1st degree.

SLED arrest warrants state between January 2023 and March 20, 2023 Lester did willfully and intentionally commit the offense of Harrassment First Degree when she caused the victim to suffer mental and emotional distress and engaged in patters of intentional, substantial, and unreasonable intrusions into the victim’s private life. Lester’s actions included threatening the victim with physical harm, threatening to disseminate nude photographs of the victim, posting nude photographs of the victim on Facebook, disseminating nude photograps of the victim to the victim’s family, and calling the victim numerous times on March 20, 2023

Lester was booked at the Newberry County Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
