Ricardo "Ricky" Davis went to be with his Lord and Savior

Born in Sumter S.C., November 2, 1950, he was the son of late Hezekiah Davis and Katherine E. Prince. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers John C., Harry D., Hilbert L. Davis and sisters Mary M., and B.M Davis and granddaughter Tamara and special canine friends, Jeppie, Shortie, Poppie, Dixie Lee and feline friends Shaman and Kitty. Survivors include his wife Rachelle Stewart-Davis, sister Precious Gilbert, daughter Sherrice T., son Andre and their mother Angela C. Davis, his grandchildren AJ, Vianne, Taylor, Mason and his step sons Stuart and Kyle Lidyard and special friend Dr. Margaret Hoffmeyer. Ricardo graduated from Edmundson High in 1968 and graduated and received his undergrad from University of Baltimore. After 2 years in the Army, he started with C&P Tel Co., in 1969 and retired from AT&T after 40 years; he worked and retired from the Veterans Administration after 7 years. He was a proud member of AA since 1989 and the past 34 years he was committed to his sobriety and in helping others in their sobriety. He had a new found love for life in helping others and traveling. "A wonderful husband, father, and a grandfather too, this is the legacy we have from you!" "Love never dies!"

Sister Shirley Dianne Braddy was 65, and departed this life Tuesday May 9, in Florence County. She was the wife of Archie G. Braddy, the mother of Mickile , Courtney Williams, Candace, James, Jeana, Michelle, Antoney, Jamie, Malik Devonta (deceased), Gene Jr. and Maliyah Braddy. You may visit the family at 4413 Grady Rd. Mullins.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the CD Joyner Auditorium on Wednesday May 17, at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery.

Ni'Reash Rayshaun Timmons was born on March 13, 1996, in Florence, South Carolina to Nikki Player-Williams and Lamont Randy Timmons. He entered eternal life on May 7, 2023

Ni'Reash, graduated from West Florence High School, Class of 2014. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. In 2016 Ni'Reash was honorably discharged from the Army. He furthered his career interests in becoming a barber.

Ni'Reash was family oriented. He had an avid love for his mother, who he loved dearly, and called her "Mommy Dukes."

Ni'Reash was a devoted son, brother, father and "Unk." He loved and cherished his only daughter, Lei'Anna. Ni'Reash leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion for family and friends. Ni'Reash was known to call family and friends to check on everyone and often asked, "Are you okay and do you need anything?"

Ni’Reash’s spiritual walk began in Mt. Zion AME Church, where he enjoyed singing on the children’s and youth choirs. He loved church and enjoyed the worship services at The Brook Church in Columbia, SC. His favorite gospel song was “Every Praise” by Hezekiah Walker.

Ni'Reash was a fun spirited soul who never met a stranger. He was a fast thinker and quick-witted. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile, as well as his charitable and unselfish personality.

Although he lived a short life, Ni'Reash will always be remembered by his stunning smile that would light up the whole room and his loving and tender heart. We know that he is free from pain and walked through the heavenly golden gates to our Father in heaven.

Ni'Reash was deeply loved by his family and friends. Even though he is missed dearly, he will always live on in our hearts.

The loved ones that cleared the path for Ni'Reash are as follows: his infant daughter, Lailah Timmons; grandfathers, Leo Robinson, Lionel Johnson, and Willie Lee Timmons, his uncle, Otha Timmons, and his cousin, Seion Timmons.

Left to cherish precious memories are his loving family and friends include: the love of his life and TikTok dance partner, his devoted mother, Nikki (Kevin) Player-Williams; his father, Lamont Timmons; his "go to ladies,'' his grandmothers, Mary Player-Johnson and Audrey Timmons; the joy of his life, his daughter, Lei'Anna Timmons; his beautiful sisters, Samantha Player, Chimyra (Troy) Tomlinson, Raniyana Timmons and Raniyah Timmons; his sunshine, nieces, Mikennzye Mason and Zoey Robinson; his rock, nephews, Braylen Williams and Noah Wright; his special and caring aunt (mom), Martha McCown; his aunts that he clung to: Chaqueta Player, Wachovia Player Bryant, Melissa Rogers, Deloris Timmons and host of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
