It is with heartfelt sorrow that the management and staff and members of the Dunham family announces the passing of Ms. Vanessa Dunham of Darlington. Ms. Dunham passed on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in a Florence hospital following an illness.

Funeral service is pending and plans will be shared at a later date.

Virginia Porter Ardis, 82, widow of Jerry Lee Ardis, Sr., and daughter of the late Harold Alston and Algie Porter Bradley, was born on August 21, 1940 in Sumter, SC. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at her residence.

Family will receive friends at the home, 19 Newman Street, Sumter, SC 29150 Daily from 3-7pm. MASK IS REQUIRED in accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines.

Brother Michael W. Thomas was 63, and departed this life Friday May 19, in Florence County. He was the father of Latrell Thomas-Beaty, Mitchell Thomas, Yolanda Thomas, the brother of Berneice Shaw, Lewis Thomas and Jimmy Thomas. You may visit the family at 1816 Coolspring Rd. Marion.
