Suspected Gunman Wanted

SUMTER, SC - Officers are working to locate a man tied to a March attempted murder case in the city.

J’Fon S’Mordrick Nike Richardson, 25, of Community Street, was identified as a suspect after multiple shots were fired toward individuals at a Charlotte Avenue house. Officers were responding to a fight-in-progress call after 2 a.m. on March 5 at the house when they learned of the shooting.

No one was hurt during the gunfire. However, the house and nearby vehicles were struck.
