SLED Charges Man With Armed Robbery at Yemassee Wendy’s
Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Keonte’ Emmanuel Williams, 26, of Yemassee, SC, on Thursday, July 29, 2023, with Armed Robbery.
On May 23, 2023, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office requested SLED to investigate an armed robbery which occurred at a Wendy’s restaurant in Yemassee.
On May 17, 2023 Keonte’ Emmanuel Williams is alledged to have willingly, knowingly, and feloniously violate SC statue of Armed Robbery 16-11-330 while at 647 Kings Hwy, in the town of Yemassee within the county of Jasper, SC.
Arrest warrants state Williams admitted to aiding and abetting, and assisting with the robbery of Wendy’s at 647 Kings Hwy, Yemassee, SC, by providing his co-defendants with pertinent information during the commission of the crime.
Williams was booked at the Jasper County Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
