*17th Annual Car & Truck Show at the SC Pecan Music & Food Festival*

Join the Swamp Fox Old Car Club for an open car and truck show at the 17th annual SC Pecan Music & Food Festival on Saturday, November 6!

Registration for participating car enthusiasts is $25 per entry and runs from 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at 291 W. Evans Street at the corner of Evans and Coit Streets in Downtown Florence.

Trophies awarded for "Best Production," "Best Non-production," "Mayor's Choice," "Top 3 in Each Class."

*15th Annual Marion County Youth Day & Veterans Day Appreciation Program*

On Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Grice Recreation Center located at 600 Green Street. From 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. An opportunity for the citizens of Marion County to spend time together, to enjoy, to promote community peace and education with our youths, while remaining safe during this pandemic.

The Gift Market on Small Business Saturday features Pee Dee artisans, food makers, and to pick out the perfect tree and live wreaths and garland! It's the perfect start for holiday shopping by celebrating local business! This free fun filled family event features pictures with Santa on a Tractor, roasting marshmallows, and cups of hot chocolate handed out by the CCFM elves. We look forward to seeing you there!

*Darlington County League of Women Voters Monthly Meeting*

The Darlington County League of Women Voters , monthly meeting is set for Thursday November 18, 7pm at The Hartsville Library 147 W. College Ave. League of Women Voters , a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. *FMU Concert Choir, Voice and Strings*

The Francis Marion University Concert Choir and Voice Collective will open the program, then be joined by the FMU String Ensemble and the Sumter Civic Chorale to perform Handel’s Messiah.
