FREE Thanksgiving Community Dinner

Abundant Faith Church, where Rev. Lathan Jones is Pastor, is holding a free community Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The event is sponsored by Caring Hearts of the Pee Dee, Prince Hall OES District 9 – Cluster 4, Hope Health and Abundant Life Church.

Abundant Faith Church is located at 1507 E. Howe Springs Road in Florence, SC.

The Gift Market on Small Business Saturday features Pee Dee artisans, food makers, and to pick out the perfect tree and live wreaths and garland! It's the perfect start for holiday shopping by celebrating local business! This free fun filled family event features pictures with Santa on a Tractor, roasting marshmallows, and cups of hot chocolate handed out by the CCFM elves. We look forward to seeing you there!

Darlington County League of Women Voters Monthly Meeting

The Darlington County League of Women Voters , monthly meeting is set for Thursday November 18th, 7pm at The Hartsville Library 147 W. College Ave. Guest Speaker is Lindy Studds , SC Count Fellow. Topic: The Changing Population: A look at the 2020 Census results for Darlington County. Everyone is invited to attend.

League of Women Voters , a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Florence FAN Club Holiday Dinner

Florence’s Furman Advantage Network Club is hosting a Holiday Dinner at Il Buongustaio Restaurant located at 1257 Celebration Blvd, Florence, SC 29501. The dinner will be Tuesday, December 7th at 6:00 p.m. There is no cost to attend but meals will be paid by each guest. We estimate meals to cost between $25-35 per person (not including alcohol).

The FAN Club’s purpose is to engage life-long members who are interested in building and cultivating the Furman community in Florence in order to enhance a sense of tradition, affiliation and pride. The goal is to strengthen your relationship with the life of the University while providing opportunities for you to participate in programs that encourage professional and social networking.

Hip Hop with Dechana

This fun, "poppy" , upbeat style of hip-hop will be taught by our youngest dance school team member, Dechana. Come ready to smile and have fun in this low impact, choreography based Hip-Hop class. Students have the option to perform the choreography at our student showcase on December 4th!

This class will be offered over 4 Tuesdays. You can purchase the classes individually at $15 per class or as a package at for $45.
