Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Chi Omega and Iota Xi chapters in collaboration with the National Panhellenic Council, Pee Dee Chapter are proud to present a virtual town hall meeting on January 6, 2022 @ 6:30pm showcasing the candidates vying for District 31 seat, a senate seat previously held by the Late Hugh Leatherman since 1981.

Each candidate will introduce their platform followed by Q & A. Allowing voters the opportunity to make an informed decision during the Special Primary Election on January 25, 2022. All voters residing in District 31 can vote on January 25, 2022 regardless of your Party’s affiliation. The moderator for this nonpartisan forum is Mrs. Tonya Brown of WPDE television station. Publicly submitted question(s) will be randomly drawn in advance and asked as time permits.
