**Statement By Florence County Deputy Darrell**

Before I say what I’m about to say I wanted to advise I do not care who is related to this young man! So blasting me and inboxing me will be irrelevant!

NOW, these young people seem to think it’s a game when it comes to taking a life for no reason! Our older generation is tired of these young people doing the things they do! Our ancestors walked miles and miles for us and here we are showing them we don’t care anything about them! I hope he gets the MAX SENTENCE! Parents y’all need to do better with the parenting you are providing to your children!

On tables that don’t serve you respect, divinity, dignity, love, self worth WALK AWAY and find you a table that will serve you absolutely everything you need to prosper in this world!

I often times have talks with young people about their poor decisions! Specifically our black young men! I’m tired of booking, locking up, and charging our black men with crimes they have no business doing!

With that being said PARENTS and older generations it’s time to take back our youth!
